Congratulation BlackWind it looks like a great knife. Enjoy it.

It kinda of reminds me an Ontario Tak1 actually,

I own several Ontario to include a RAT-3 and RAT-7...both in D2 steel.

I'm planning on dropping the Busse in a chemical stripping to remove the coating....reminds of a damn Navy ship and I use my knifes hard....coating doesn't last very long!

That sounds like a good idea. I'm not buying anymore coated knives if I can help it also.
It just wears too fast and looks like hell after. I'm mainly looking at premium steel blades with bead blasted satin finishes these days. It just cuts out the crap and leaves the blades subdued, but pure steel which is alright by me.
