Been casting 44 cal  Keith type bullets for near 20 years now. Always bought the other calibers that I reload. But now with the way things seem to be headed I'm looking to cast the others as well. I've been reading several threads on Cast Boolits about using the same mold for both 9mm and 38 spl reloading.
Basically cast .358 dia. and size to .356 for the nine. Any experiences and advice here?

I use the Lee 125 RNFP mold for .38/.357 and 9mm.    I shoot it as cast (unsized) in my GP100 and sized to .357" for my 9mm pistols.

DancingBear,
My Lee 124gr 9mm drops at around .358" It is a tumble lube bullet (has multiple lube grooves) I load these as cast for my 9mm and they shoot great. The 9mm is hard to load cast bullets for. It is a high pressure round and if you back it off too much it will not work the action on most semi autos.

My bullets at 15bhn and .357 to .358 diameter (as cast) is the first I have had success with in 9mm.

In my opinion .356" is too small for the run of the mill 9mm.

The .357/38 wheel gun is much more forgiving but I like at least .358" for it.

When it comes to cast bullets I am a firm believer and life time member of the "Bigger is Better Club".

Slug your 9mm bbl.  You'll want your cast bullets at least 0.001 over that.  I size my 9mm to .357. (sig 226)  I'm using the 135 gr NOE 4 cavity mold.

I have had best results with bullets sized .357 for my 9mm's.
