Of course everyone is out of ammo any more so I purcahsed the items to reload my own ammo. I purchased a Lee single stage. I have been looking around the net and I have found tons of bullets that are 224. I have never seen a 224 caliber firearm so unless I am missing something would this bullet work in a 223/556 reload?
Sorry for the newbie questions but there is so much info on relaoding and everyone seems to have a different opinion so I want to be safe. Thanks |

If you are considering starting reloading, read everything at the top of this forum before asking your questions. That means everything, including the Resources. I also recommend reading the site Conduct Code carefully. You've already agreed to the terms when you enrolled in the site, so you might as well know what they contain to help keep from running afoul of the Code. There's a link on the right hand side of each page. Conduct Code All threads by new prospects with a question about starting reloading need to include a comment that your question is not answered in the material already available. If you're looking for components, used the tacked thread. Please use meaningful thread titles. The search function is completely useless with titles such as ".308", and they make scanning the pages for threads of interest more productive. Failing to follow these guidelines after noon on the 7th of November 2012 will cause your thread to either be locked or deleted without warning. We were unnecessarily buried by these same topics after The Kenyan was elected the last time, and I intend to get ahead of the problem this time. In the mean time, I will try to update and improve parts of the information we have in the Resources and tacked threads, but be patient, it's tedious work and requires lots of time. As always, articles by members are welcome, if not actively encouraged recently; this forum belongs to the members here, but it will benefit by more participation in a couple of topics. |
