My friend just put one on his 10.5" sbr. With several types of ammo, it showed a GREAT deal more flash than the PWS comp that I have on my 12.5" sbr. (I understand that the barrels are different length, but the effect was dramatic when switching the rifles back and forth with the same ammo.) After seeing the flash, he's decided to go with a plain brake since he figures the flash couldn't be much worse.
On a brigher note, there was no pinging and it worked pretty well as a brake.
