Like I needed another shotgun!  I was at Gander Mountian today looking at their clearance guns.  They had a  Winchester 1300 in 20 gauge on sale for $229.00.  They offered an additional $50 off for guns priced 300 to 1000 dollars.

The sign in the store said "priced" not "clearance priced".  So I asked the guy for the additional $50 bucks off and he said ok. So, I paid $179.00.  At that price I couldn't pass it up.

I am now in my 24 hour waiting/cooling down period.  It doesn't matter that I already own over 40 guns.   Makes no sense...

I bought a 1300 Defender about a month ago, like new for $200 I couldn't pass it up.

I ran two magazine fulls of old #4 buck police loads thru it to check it for function, works great. Now it's on a shelf in the closet, protecting the family.

I have one that has been well used and holding up quite well.    Might only think about replacing it if getting a Benelli M1 or M3 and yet would keep it as a backup.

Nice grab at a great price.  

I got a new Camp Defender from them last month for $269.  It was marked $319, they had reduced the price by $20 and them took another $30 off as part of the sale at the time.  I didn't really need another shotgun, but the price was right.  Since this one can take different chokes I am going to try some sporting clays with it once the weather breaks.
