I just ordered an Osprey 45 that I plan on using on multiply calibers. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to having a barrel extension installed as opposed to getting a new threaded barrel?

Thanks If a barrel extension is done improperly it can lead to malfunctions and baffle strikes. |
