I was on a job near Toledo. I had always wanted an M1 and had always thought I should get one from the CMP. I managed to work it such that I made two trips to the North Store. Recently I got the time to strip my new prizes and clean them up a bit. I am not real satisfied with my work on the stocks but it is time to stop cleaning and start shooting! Both are HRA rec, bolt, and op rods with SA barrels.

I think your stocks look great, but if you're looking to refinish them again, I used this stuff on my M1 Carbine when I refinished it. When I was done, the stock looked just like my CMP Garand stock, stuff works wonders!
