anyone else have an Armalite 20 rnd magazine that was chopped to make a 10 rounder?
I can't get mine to feed.

what do you do with it.

ArmaLite 10 rounders aren't chopped 20 rounders.  They're new, so you may have a remake from somewhere.  I found a good paper on mags at the Armalite forum.  I have 8 of those mags and had trouble with one and ended up cutting a couple coils off the spring and it works fine.  Check ArmaLite.com's library for the info.

It's a good idea to load the mags 1 round short.  In Nam the practice was to load 20 rounders to 18 and I think that's probably good advice with the AR10 too.  The laws force the makers to build mags tight.

Get some 10 rounders from bushmaster......they`re great........
