Anybody out there have a guide gun? Do you like it?

I’m looking at the 30-06 model and am very interested in using a Saker suppressor on it. It would be used for hunting and plinking.

Do you mean "Scout Rifle"? Guide gun is a short barreled 1895 Marlin in .45-70 or .450 Marlin

OP, I don’t have one but I’ve been considering one in .375 Ruger.

If you're going with that action/gun, might as well go all the way and get the .416 Mag.

But good luck either way. I love my Ruger American Rifles!
