I current have a RRA 16'' non-chrome lined AR15. Mega lower ect. I want to get another american rifles. A m14 comes to mind. I have really fell in love with the socom 16. Feels right in my hands. I was just wondering...with comparable ammo and the same optics would my 16'' AR or a socom 16 be more accurate? I can shoot 2-3'' groups with irons with my AR easily. And ring a steel plate at 200 yards off-handed...left handed all day with my AR. Think I could shoot groups like this with a socom 16? If I put my scope on my AR it shoots 1-1.5'' groups. I like the socom 16 but I may end up getting a full size m14. I am still not sure. I want to start looking because I am selling my MAK to a buddy next week. So it is time to look for my next toy. |
