| I have done several SBR and SBS FORM 1's, however, my latest one is my first to go pending research. I uploaded photos of the receiver to show I had the model name right and this morning ATF emailed me to follow up. I was asked to confirm the model name which I already had with ththe manufacturer and I supplied additional photos. After doing so, the examiner stated that's all he needed and my form went to pending. If they were not satisfied would they have rejected my form 1 right there and then or do I still have to wait three to four months to see if it will be rejected? |

Your wait (when compared to others posting approvals) started when it moved from Pending Research to Submitted/In Process. You'll see that date in EForms and on the PDF as opposed to the day you actually hit Submit. You may still have an issue, but it shouldn't be with the model.
