For accuracy in some fiction I'm writing....10/22 with a suppressor......at night.....any visible muzzle flash using subsonic ammo?

Probably not. Barrel length?

Usually not and not even with standard ammo.
However, if you're using NV you can see some grains of burning powder that escape.

I got a nifty "star" flash pattern running a full-auto .22 LR with a birdcage flash hider.

Not subsonic ammo, and it was in a 5-ish inch barrel.

I'm guessing you wouldn't get much of a flash on a 16" or longer barrel, with or without a flash hider.  On a 18" 10/22 with a suppressor, I wouldn't expect to see anything from the muzzle.  Maybe a little from the ejection port, though.

Just went out and tried it for you, albeit not on a 10/22, but a Mossberg Plinkster w/ AAC Pilot. CCI SV

No flash, not even with the NVGs, no burnt powder escaping, 16"bbl w/ 6" can though
I was going to try it from the other side, but the string wasn't long enough

out of my 10/22 carbine using a SiCo Sparrow, i got nothing out of my muzzle end. only some sparks or w/e out of the ejection port.
