It was a CMP rifle, bought and not cleaned 4 uears ago.
I bought it and cleaned it up, here it is, The wood I cleaned with Formbys wood refinisher and then 3 coats of tung oil. I left all the dings and such. The wood warmed up nice, and has a nice brown patina. I may replace the handguards bands, they are a little rough.

Good looking rifle. I've got a Smith Corona in the safe that dad bought in the 60's and sporterised (ized?).
