Didnt even get it  8th of turn before the bolt let go..   reciever threads seem to look ok but this worries the hell outa me.
anyone ever have this happen? the mount is new.

NOOO not complaining or trying to start a hate thread!!   I'm sure this is something that can be fixed, I'm
just inquiring as to wether this is something thats happened before..  I have total confidence in the product.
maybe I'll machine a replacement bolt..

SEI has a longer, stronger bolt available that may solve your problem...

Yes, I had this happen.  Don't torque the bolt to their specs, go easy on the next one you get and you'll be fine.

ETA: Just be glad the bolt threads stripped and not the receiver threads.
