| Newbie considering an AP4 in. 308 and I am wondering about putting a scope on it. I have several nice compact scopes and a Bobro mount sitting in the safe but ...will this work...? That fixed front sight sure looks like it will be in the way..... The salesman told me it wont be an issue...but what say ye..? |

Yes a 1-1.5x optic it will be blurry in your sight picture but 2-2.5x and higher you won't even see it. It will however make your optic a little darker but not enough to really hurt. I assume it has to do with the exit pupil...? Was really thinking my NF 2.5-10x24...but it struggles to let in much light anyway with the 24mm objective....hmmmm.... |
