I'm trying to determine what 3 lug module to use with a Thompson Machine SG-2
I believe the thread pitch is 1 3/16x24. I know the Gemtech multimount 3 lug works and I don't think the Rugged Obsidian 3 lug will work.

What's the pitch on the Griffin one? I know the SiCO module is huge, no interest
Does anyone else have a 3 lug module worth considering?

Gemtech Multimount and Liberty.

Silencerco / Rugged / Griffin won't.

Don't know thread pitch, but Griffin is larger than GemTech.

The thread pitch is 1-1/8x28.

Our piston retainer and 3 lug use the 1.125x28 thread.  Our unique 3 lug coupler design appears to be the design Rugged is planning to use- with a cosmetic modification.

I'm not really a fan of the legacy systems- they have light springs and depend on several diameters to fit and not cause baffle strikes.  My only experience with the legacy 3-lug systems was with the first generation SWR Trident 9, and my observation was that they cause poor accuracy and the cans rattle around on the mounts.  No baffle strikes, but obviously poor alignment was occurring.  The wobble on a Tros barrel was visually apparent to the naked eye during firing of the silencer on a 9mm carbine and groups went front 2" @ 50 yards to vertically strung ovals ~10-13" in size.

Would you consider that gemtech and Liberty systems legacy? I have a gemtech 3 lug adaptor with a low round count on it that fits my tros barrel very well. It is on a form 1 can and I don't get any POI shift or change in group size. I would have loved to use one of your systems on my can ( your stuff seems well engineered and durable ) but I was too lazy to reverse engineer it into my tube.

Here's the Gemtech 3-lug adapter next to the UZI mount that my SG-2 shipped with:

Would like to know too.

Maybe for the occasional 600 yard 9mm match?

But, build whatever makes you happy. I do.

You don't run 10x on your SBR?

I was trying it out at 100 yards to see what I could ring from it accuracy wise.

Which was about 7 moa for ten shot groups.

My 30DMG's every day sight is a Leupold Prismatic 1x.

Great information, can you go into anymore detail about "legacy systems"? What makes yours different or what brands do you consider "legacy"? Your 3-lug seems clever and I've been toying with the idea of going 3-lug for my pistol caliber rifles.
