I have one, new in the plastic pouch - bought a couple before they were off the shelves of Sports Authority way back when.

I'd part with it for $75 shipping incl.  This is a clear Butler Creek, never been fired, never even been locked into a 10/22.

OH BTW ... just in case you are thinking that the rugermags link above looks like a good choice, that guy highly suspected of shipping them illegally from Canada.  Watch your six.

Thanks,

Ryan

Ouch, that would suck.  I must say I have not purchased from them... so I cannot speak for their merchandise, just their advertising.

That being said, there are several dealers that sell them at the DFW shows, and they are usually around $50 for hot lips, and $75 for steel lips (if you can find those)

Maybe USNJoe can shed more light on this. I'm asuming these are NEW mags but I thought Canada had a high cap ban as well?
John

the ban only applies to center-fire weapons. 10rd's for handguns, 5rd's for rifles, rimfires anything you want.

WOW!
Thanks for all of the info guys. I would be looking for the Butler Creek Steel Lips. I'd like to get two of them if I can find them. I'd pay the $75+ apiece if I can find someone reputable that has them.

Its true we Canadians have few Very Few advantages when it comes to gun laws and the lack of restrictions on rimfire mags is one of the good  ones....the other is lack of Pre/Post ban crap....
I just picked up a couple of 25 rounders for $25 Canadian...so if the rugermag site is in Canada they are ripping people off!!

Yes, the Rugermags guy is in Canada.  Yes, he does actually ship 25rd magazines into the US.  Yes it is illegal (AFAIK).  Got a friend that got one from him, so he DOES exist, and will try to send you a mag.

as worded on rugermags.com

Please do not ask me if these items are legal in your area. It is up to YOU to know your laws

he never once states that they are preban.

All NIB Butler Creek mags that I've seen up here have molded-in printing on their bodies to the effect that the mag is for LE/Export only.

That's all he sells?  Just 3 models of mag, from Canada, at prices unattractive to most Canadians?  Doesn't sound like much of a business.  Sounds in fact more like an ideal transborder sting operation for police forces who enjoy delving into this kind of 'your ____ is too [big/small/new/old]' silliness.  I understand that your BATF actively prosecutes this sort of chickenfeed.  Our cops do too - the Canadian Police Association (representing frontline police) and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (representing appointed police chiefs) are among the few remaining holdouts who still support the Firearms Act.

The domain is registered to a hotmail address, and a telephone number and address for Alabama.  How do we know for sure that this guy operates from Canada?

Saving $20-30 per mag isn't worth any kind of 'record' with BATF ya'll. They may prosecute, or sit on their hands and wait, or burn your house down because you picked up the (Media newscaster voice) "Machine gun!!!" kit from tapco.

sadly, its more cost effective to convert your AR to .22 and use ciener 30 rdrs. and they are acually metal.
