Ratworx admits their web page is terribly out of date. I would not take the info about the MCS as being current. Note that the last time the page was updated was July.
[ETA] I just called Ratworx and spoke to Al, and he confirmed that the MCS is shelved/dead at this point- according to him that is straight from Tony at MSAR. Ratworx is just waiting for their webmaster to take the pics down.

FYI to everyone, X-ile works for MSAR, so I would take what he says over what Ratworx told me. Not that Ratworx wasn't telling me the truth as far as they have been told (I trust Al and he even remebered me and we talked for quite some time- he is as close to official info as you can get when MSAR is closed on a Sunday.  ), just that X-ile would be closer to knowing 100% of what is going on than Ratworx.

MSRP on any caliber variation w/1.5 optic will be $1259.00 Any carbine with a 9" inch top rail and no optic will MSRP for $995.00 making this system probably the best value you will see on any firearm in a long time. Notice the new/additional sling quick detach points in the pics. Since this is a July 2007 post and Tony isn't with MSAR anymore, does anyone know whether this information is still accurate? |

If it takes much longer, Obama will say no. The current MSAR's have threaded barrels, the new PC rifles (to be announced right after Obama bans the current crop) most likely won't.
