Yea, my wallet is getting hidden if these things start getting approved that quick.
Already looking at 30 cal cans after my Wolfman was released a few weeks ago. Oculus in jail now. |

Maybe a test case so the AFT can then further explain yea approved that one, but as dealers don't do any of this either going forward.................
Just thinking out loud here but totally feasible knowing how that agency runs itself |
|
And here I am 6 months in on the paper form 4 for my Turbo K.
This process is bullshit. |

View Quote It's like they started taking E4s, but then what? Months of training for the examiners before they even start looking at them? The whole ATF form process reminds me of Willie Wonka's chocolate factory. |

Did they provide any proof, like a photo of the approved F4 with the dates (obviously with all of the personal info blacked out)? It’s FB, so I’m skeptical.

But for those of us with paper form 4s approaching almost a year now its kinda irritating at the same time. I still suspect this might have been a test run approval so all the agents could have a training class on this new process. Kinda like the IRS will accept and process a few of the early e filers to work out any bugs with the electronic submissions before officially opening up the tax season. With all the backlog now flowing in from SS and others after the show up in person, don't share your PIN with your dealer etc.... nonsense I just can't see this being the new norm. YMMV |
|
I currently have 5 suppressors in jail. Three of them are on paper Form 4's and the other two I'm waiting to certify them so SS can submit the E Form 4's. It'll be interesting if the E form 4's get approved before the paper ones do. For all the people whining about E forms getting approved before your paper forms, welcome to the party. It's frustrating for sure, but it's all part of the messed up NFA process. If you're able too, buy some more items on E forms and maybe you'll be one of the lucky early approvals. Personally, I'm waiting for my SOT to actually certify and submit my form 4's before buying more items.

This thread, in addition to the other one with the pic, is heading toward a lock…as all it’ll be is another tracking/complaint thread.
If somebody here gets a legit eF4 approval, send me a PM and I’ll unlock the sticky. |

I saw a paper form 4 approval take a week once. It was also expedited for a law enforcement officer though. The expedition process renders this irrelevant to all the people trying to figure out how long eforms form 4 transfers will take.

Am I wrong to say I don’t believe it? Maybe it’s a form1 because they are all 5-30 days. But not a form4. I have two efile form4s in on 1/5/22. Still pending

Us civi peasants can’t get them that fast View Quote Normally I don’t either, I was 6-9 months on my last three cans, but to be honest I think they do this because it makes book keeping easier for them as well! In 2013 or 14 when eform 4’s were up and running my can took 3-4 months. I’m hoping for that standard or better. Which is pathetic, because we shouldn’t be waiting on big brother to say when we can have something that we’ve paid for that we have a right to. |
