after shooting the bolt will not retract what problems shall i look for

Minimum failure you're describing is failure to extract, with bolt stuck forward on the extractor.  Clearance for this is to hold the charging handle with one hand while you slap the entire rifle buttfirst onto the ground or a solid surface, to aid in extracting the fired round.

If all that does is jump the extractor, or rip the rim off the case, lock the bolt carrier back, and use a cleaning rod to tap out the empty casing.

Clean the chamber well, maybe don't fire that (kind of) ammo anymore....

It depends on what is happening and what is not happening with a little more detail. Another possibility: If it won't cycle back after being fired, but you can easily pull the carrier back via the charging handle, I'd be thinking big gas leak or total blockage somewhere.

the gun will actually fire but once fired it will not extract the bolt , I also thought the gas tube but wasnt sure
