I recently bought 2 30rd refurbished mags. i went to test them today and both were tight, but one was so tight it had to be hit into position by the palm of my hand. In the process it scraped off some of the finish of the mag all the way to the bare metal. Is there anything I can do to correct this? They functioned fine but will not drop out of the gun.

I assume you have other mags that fit just fine?

It could be the mags have swelled out at the top near the feed lips. You can try to adjust this problem by using a vice or c-clamp and compressing the mag a little at a time and then checking for fit.

I have seen some mags that have been so deformed that they have taken almost a diamond shape when looking from the top. Adjust those as needed.
