A simple question.....

Did this modification to the rifle affect the location of the serial number???  Last I checked, the SN was located on the part where the mag is located at.

The majority of the "AR" lowers I have seen, lists the manufacturer name, model and serial number right in the spot in front of the stock mag catch is located.  Is the solution as simple as just restamp this info somewhere else on the receiver???

This is a moot point if one orders a lower from you, but how about the do-it-yourselfer?

We stock new forged Oly receivers with the serial number above the trigger pins.  These are custom cut to fit the adapter and are marked Tommy15.  They cost $150.00.

As far as other AR lowers, about half have the serial number in a spot that is not affected.  The others can have the number restamped prior to cutting if necessary.  Anyone making their own lower, of course, doesn't have any of these concerns.  Check ATF.GOV for details on SN remarking.
