Hi everybody, this is my first post, so here it goes; I am building an spr-ish rifle and I was wondering what scope mount to use. I will probably be using the rifle for range plinking as well as an IPSC 3-gun rifle so I will be removing the scope from time to time. What QR mounts are popular ( larue, ARMS, Leupold) what have you used and how is the repeatability?

( I like the larue because I'm sure its one piece design is pretty solid but I'm looking to save a little $$ )
Oh, who has the best price on the larue, all i've seen is $215 but read posts where people mentioned $195

I've got several sets of ARMS rings...they'll come to within a scope click every time.  I guess that's 1/4" or so at 100 yds.  Close enough for .gov work.

Larue all the way.

On one of my 3Gun rifles, I switch between an EOTech and a TA11 in Larue mounts based on the requirements of the match...

I would get Larue over ARMS.  You have no way to adjust tension on the ARMS throw levers.  They can be so tight you have to use a tool to move the lever or so loose you can use your pinky to throw the lever.

Larue is definitely the most popular...and for good reason.  They are great mounts but a little on the costly side.

IMHO the Armalite one-piece is a great choice and much more reasonably priced.  My Armalite  one-piece has held zero just fine.

Good Luck

There are two different SPR mounts (SPR and SPR-E) The SPR is $195 and the SPR-E is $215. I would say that the SPR-E works best with optics that have OVER 4" of eye relief (like the Trijicon TR21).
