Sup ya'all

Just got my first AR-15 !!  (olympic arms) w00t !
I'm looking for a nice little compact scope for it for not to much money. I want to be able to shoot a 100 yards+ accurate..  can the AR-15 do that ? Is this gun accurate?

What do you guys think i need?

I had something in mind like this pic:

but i have no idea how accurate those small scopes are.
