Just have a quick question about my Aimpoint PRO. I noticed the selector knob for the dot turns easy and looks like it might be prone to getting moved while carrying the gun(I'm left handed so it rests against my body). Is there anything to do that could tighten/secure the knob a bit or am I worrying about nothing?

It is supposed to be like that. I believe it helps it withstand impacts. My comp m4 is the same way.

CompM2's had a real problem with being rubbed on or off, but the newer models should not be that loose. It sounds like your problem comes from being left handed.

You can try wrapping a small rubber band around the seam of the knob, which should add enough friction to keep it from moving accidentally, but not prevent it from functioning. You can also reverse the mount so that the mount's knob sticks out on the right side of the gun, which might prevent the power knob from touching as many things.

thanks guys. It's not really loose, but it's not as tight as I was expecting it to be. This is my first Aimpoint and I figured the switch would be set so it was fairly hard to turn since it's designed to be left on. I agree that being left handed and having that side against me is what would probably cause issues. I'll try the rubber band trick and see what happens.
