Is this really a good combo to have or is it not worth it?...got my answer!

The B.A.D. is worth it, I wouldn't really go for the others...

Redi-Mods have thier place.

The BAD lever works like a charm with it.

I used to have a redimag on my main go to rifle. Running drills 1 day I hung it on my web gear and the mag dropped out. It had to go.

That was going to be my next question, I know the redi mag looks "purtty", but as for combat mode, what is the real disadvantage?

I have had Redimags, and I really liked them,
but removed them years ago. It was nice having
75 rounds on the gun for a bump in the night,
but I realized it added so much weight. One
of the best things about the AR platform is
that its light & maneuverable, if you don't
load it down. I keep it to an optic & a
light.

75 rounds? What mags did you have?

Also make the weapon unbalanced.

2- 40 round AR mags. They run 100%.

I agree...Redi-Mag has it's place but the extra weight rules it out for me on a patrol rifle.  Like any other specialized piece of kit you need to constantly train with it and become proficient before it should ever hit the street for patrol use!  The Magpul B.A.D. lever is truly awesome and takes very little time to really get comfortable and smooth with it.  Almost all of our officers have been switching to it for it's speed and ease of use.  As for the Troy ambi-magazine release...we carry them but I have not tried one yet.  We've received some positive feedback on it so far.  The Norgon ambi-catch works very well with the B.A.D. lever.  Both are very simple to install and work very well together!!  Hope that helps!

So you loaded less than 40 each? Why?

I usually down load any full size rifle mag
2 or 3 rounds to make insertion a little
easier.

troy ambi mag release kicks ass.  I am a lefty and being able to drop a mag with my trigger finger facilitates faster reloading for me.
