Thought I would post a quick hello. My name is Mike, I'm 33 and live in Maine. I paint cars and have my helicopter license (working on commercial)

I found AR15.com the other day and must admit this place is great!! Informative, intresting, and easy to navigate!!

The first m-16 type weapon I used was an M-16 A2 while in the USCG from 94' to 98', we still had the full auto version, left overs mostly. I had always wanted one of my own and only just recently was able to get one. The other day I picked up a DPMS A2 Carbine and have fallen in love with it. Its still plane jane and unmolested and will probably stay that way for some time.

I have always been a shooter, starting when I was young with BB guns and 22s when I was around 8 years old. Now I have kids of my own. My oldest turning 7 soon, her pink bolt action .22 is already in the cabinet just waiting for that special moment!
