i just got a new colt 1/7 twist.... i was wondering what brand of ammo to push through it... and what brand to stay away from.i can not shoot fmj at the range... but i will shoot fmj hunting...did not know if that helps.

For zeroing purpouses I would use the XM193 if you can find any.
for blasting I use Wolf in my ARs, including my Colt.

The 1/7 twist will work well with 55gr all the way up to the 77gr <?> ammo

Shoot it up and have no fear!
