Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - looking for a certain type of floating handgaurd

I am wanting to change out the current rock river amrs floating handgaurd to one that has opne holes or slits length waysbut in just an unfinished aluminum no anodizing so it matches my unfinished aluminum receiver

any ideas?

just buy one with finish and use a scotch brite wheel on a drill or a dental lathe. It should work.

i agree... but you should just bead blast it. MUCH better finish.

I know someone who has a glass bead blaster. I think that may work. I didnt think of just removing the anodizing i guess

taking of the hang guard is a pain. to sent it away just to take off somthing id go with the brillo lol
