how bad or hard is it to attach jb weld to a threaded prebn barrel to attach a muzzle break to make it postban?

JB weld is NOT an BATF approved method of attachment.  NO 'chemical' means are.

The only legal methods to attach a muzzle device on a threaded barrel (for a pre-ban weapon) are:
- 4 equidistant tack welds

or

- High temperture (1100 deg) silver solder

or

- weld for at least half the circumferance

or (and this is the most popular)

- pin the muzzle device with a blind pin - then weld over the pin on the muzzle device.
