Get the Colt.
Remember, if a new ban is enacted, the rail systems and optics will still be available. I am not trying to be a doomsayer, but I don't think that the gun-grabbers are just going to go away either.

well, last month i bought an RRA entry tactical, and an eotech. I am in the process of building a mid-length rra upper/cmt lower. the ta31f would go on that build and the troy rails would go on the entry tactical for use with a surefire and vfg.
but I saw a "good" deal on the colt, and I have heard it will be very hard to get them without being an LEO. So I figured why not put the ta31 and mrfc off for another month and get the colt. (although it is basically the same rifle as the entry tactical)
completely agree. I kinda want to have 4-5 of these rifles before the next president gets in office. I am also stocking up on xm193.(if they cant take the guns they will either take the ammo, or tax the shit out of it)After one month of having my rifle I have over 3K rds of xm193 and 250 rds of assorted ammo. |

Get more guns if you don't think that you have enough. Get the accessories later after you have all the guns you want.
That's the same thing I'm doing now, getting/ building more guns and only buying minimum upgrades. For myself I only need at least a minimum of two optics and two tactical lights, I'll get more accessories later when I'm satisfied I have enough guns. My goal is to have two CARs, two middies and two SPRs. At least three compatible manufacturers with interchangeable parts. |
