hey guys, new to the forum and want to build my first rifle!

so far i have a RA a-dac lower, RA forged upper, and a geissele DMR trigger.

right now im looking at lower parts....been eye balling V seven stuff.  my question is, due to me having the a-dac lower do i have to use the supplied RA bolt catch, or can i use say a V seven lightened bolt catch?
im sure ill have many other questions, but i am looking to build a carbine length upper quality build.  any help is much appreciated!

the adac uses a proprietary bold hold open and it comes with the lower.

Thank you, i couldnt find that on RA website.  It does look like it has a groove on the underside unlike a standard bolt catch.

I just looked up the lower you were talking about, I'm interested. If they felt the need to add a bolt catch to your buy they probably didn't do it for no reason. I would suggest contacting them directly for an accurate answer.

it seems like a cool idea, if you dont want the function, you just remove the the pin between the mag release and the bolt catch.

Black ti mag release

Vseven makes good parts.  I have used their stuff on my lightweight builds.  Great quality and I have had only one minor issue with a ejection port door that Vseven CS fixed very promptly.  Pricey compared to standard lower parts, but to me worth it.

Thanks, I have no problem spending a little more for a good product.  I'll get those parts coming.  I would really lIke to use the ubr2 stock if it ever comes out!  I will probably have some buffer questions when I get that far.  Once parts come in I'll try and take some pics.  Thanks again.
