This is my first AR build, and I used a complete Delton upper. I was surprised to see an oring around the extractor spring, i thought that was a mod I was going have to do later. I'm excited, something I didn't have to chase down. |

the O ring isn't needed and can provide too much Extractor tension. Brass smears on the bolt face is one result.

The 308 BCG that I ordered from Rainier Arms (for my Mega MA-TEN build) came with the extractor upgrade. I didn't realize it until I went to install the parts I take a close look at my brass to see if there are any marks just to be safe. |

It is something I will be watching more closely though. My owners manual says to make sure the "O" ring is installed. |
