anybody ever mount an aimpoint on a dominator mount? if so what mount or rings did you use to co-witness in the lower third? thanks in advance Tim |
| I may be wrong on this but.....my understanding is that the RRA Dominator mount is for EOTech's and the RRA Tactical Carry Mount is for mounting Aimpoints. The two mounts have a fixed BUIS on them. As for the rings for lower 1/3 irons, I too, would like to hear from the masses.....I'm still trying to decide between Aimpoint and EOTech. My agency requires me to use one of the two optics and I also can only use one of the two mentioned optics mounts..... |
| your correct on the dominator being used for the eotech, i bought an RRA with that particular mount on it thinking i wanted a eotech, but now i'm thinking i like the aimpoints. i like the fixed iron sights on the dominator for elevation reasons, i would think there would be some sort of low profile mount (rings) to mount an aimpoint on one. anybody!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
