I just purchased a used Colt 4x20 scope
(made in Japan) when I put it on my A2 I
found the eye relief is not what I thought it would be.I have to get too close to see.
Is there an adjustment on the scope or
something I can purchase(a new scope ?)
to give me longer eye relief???
Thanks for any help you can give.

The Colt scopes do have a short eye relief.  I have always found that irritating.  The ACOG 4x32 that is so much in vogue isn't much better.  There really isn't anything to do to the Colt scope, but a shorter stock might help.  Watch-Six

Can you still get that scope new anywhere?

Coltjeeper, these Colt scopes have not been made in quite a while.  I have a Colt 3X that I don't use anymore.  If you want one send me an email, I probably could be talked out of it.  Watch-Six

Thanks for info.I want to keep my A2 original,
so changing the stock is not an option for me.
Looking through this site,it appears I don't
have allot of choices for a low profile sighting
system to go on the handle of my A2 when I get
bored with my iron sights
