Anybody have and idea of the OD of the Bushmaster Model # AZ-C1516SL? BM has twice given me the worng P/N for a gas block front sight which fits this barrel's OD. The rifle is a pleasure to shoot, IMO. Very lightweight, quite accurate for a 16" barrel. The gas block is actually riveted or pinned from BOTH sides, not L-R taper pins as in other ARs I have. Weird.

It's a .625 OD barrel. However fitting a standard FSB to the barrel is not a straightforward thing and may be part of why you think they're giving you the wrong P/N.
What are they telling you is correct? |
