Found out by accident the 5.56 chamber brush in the military cleaning kit also make a great .45 caliber barrel brush. Just enough resistance to clean the barrel without binding. Was using the large section of the brush to clean the chamber and barrel extension and I pushed too far and the whole thing went into the barrel. Slides in without any fuss and works great.

not having a chamber brush, I found my 45 brush worked pretty good.

I couldn't find a .45 brush that would screw onto the end of my cleaning rods. Didn't want to buy another caliber specific cleaning kit.
