| Will a Spike's Tactical .22lr conversion kit work with my 12" LMT Piston? Do I just have to remove the piston rod? Or do I have to buy a dedicated .22lr upper? Thanks. |

I bought the 16" MRP barrel from Spikes along with their dedicated bolt. It's a lot of fun. I didn't want to risk the lead from the 22 rounds fouling the gas port in my piston barrel. The dedicated barrel has a much slower twist rate for the 22 rounds as well.
