I got "bit" by the AR bug recently and decided to build an AR in .204 Ruger. This is my fist build, and first AR for that matter. I have always been a bolt action guy, but after using my buddies DPMS in .204 for some squirrel eradication, I decided I had to have my own.
Here are the parts I have ordered/gathered so far: - Quentin Defense 80% lower (and lower parts kit) - Quentin Defense Side Charge upper (comes with Young Mfg. side charge bolt carrier group) - Wilson Combat single stage trigger - Wilson Combat 18in .204 1/12 twist - JP enterprises Captured spring/buffer - JP adjustable gas block - Magpul PRS stock - Lancer Systems Carbon fiber Handguard -Ergo grip I'm still deciding on scope mounts, and a bipod. I just finished writing the CNC program to finsh out the lower. Pics will come as I get parts in and start machining the lower. |
