He!! Yeah!!!

The closest I've seen was ARMS OD finish on their SIRS, It wasn't a solid color OD like a paint, it was more like a transparent finish that allowed the texture of the AL through, but "dyed" it OD.
The color of the SF's I like more though.

Ideas anyone?

Surefire could do it, But of course then the parts would cost around 4 times too much

I would like that.  It is a cool color.  I would also want receivers in dark earth brown.  Black receivers are soooooo yesterday.

I love my Surefires, but I wish they made them black or at least OD.

Black flashlights are even more yesterday than black receivers.

However, I would love to see OD and earth brown millenium lights.  Considering the success some units have had using privately purchased G2 nitrolons, I wonder if SF will ever look into making dedicated weaponlights out of the material.  That would be the simplest way of adding color to the lineup without the added cost of anodizing in various colors.  I'm surprised they didn't try making the new scout lights in nitrolon.  An OD green (or dark earth brown) nitrolon scout light with a 65 lumen LED head and throw lever mount would be perfect form my CQB carbine.

If they easily machine such complex curves and fins like they do on some of the LED lamps; make heavily machined rail systems; and even dabble around in suppressors-  How hard can if be to just start making their own damn receivers!
