Never had any problems whatsoever.

I have a SA pre-ban NM M1A and a new SA post ban NM M1A. They both have a insatiable appetite for ammo.

Seriously, no problems, no complaints with the rifles.

I don't like the rangefinding reticle in the new SA 6X scope that they sell... the reticle is way too thin for anything but paper target work.

I would also add another 7.62 M1A mouth to feed to my family.

mixed feelings. My M1A loaded was THE most accurate rifle I have ever shot.with Iron sights. I never mounted the scope on it.. Just didnt seem righ to. and truly didnt need to.

BAD thing is that the damnt hing has got to be the heaviest weapon to hump in the freaking world. I wish it was more ergo to me.

I had a failure to extract problem with mine.  I called Springfield and they asked me to send it to them.  When I got it back it worked fine.

i got an M1A NM with SM barrel.
no problems  3/4MOA for 20 rounds at 1 round every two seconds.

she has kicked ass for 7000 rounds.  rebarreled because of wear at 5000 rounds.
only problems is she doesn't like to eat shitty ammo.

From the posts above, it looks like a better question (if this were in the correct forum, anyway) would be "Who wouldn't?..."

No problems of any kind.  M-14's were our rifle in USMC 1967.  SA's just have nicer wood and are not full auto.
