Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Who makes the best muzzle compensator?

Looking for a compensator that works well at reducing the recoil, for faster follow up shots on a semi auto AR-15. I'm not concerned with anti muzzle climb for full auto. Also doesn't have to be a flash suppressor. Just looking primarily to reduce recoil as much as possible. I have a pre ban threaded barrel. Thanks.

I agree for the need of a muzzle brake on the BONE-CRUSHING RECOIL of the HUGE 5.56 NATO round.

Cavalry Arms Cav-Comp.  works and doesn't look gay (in fact it looks pretty damn good), and isn't obnoxious to everyone else on the firing line...
