Hey guys, I'm wanting to get an Ar Pistol, but with all the different brands of 10.5" and 11.5" barreled uppers and kits, I need more information to make an educated choice.  Who here has an Ar Pistol that has been rock solid reliable?  What brand were the parts used and round count would help also.  Thanks a lot!

The first barrel in my CMMG 7.5 inch upper was faulty and would not run, too much gas???  After CMMG replaced the barrel with one properly gassed (very quickly, no BS, and without cost to me I might add) the pistol has run 100%.

+1 to CMMG

My trusty old 6 inch M2 upper has never coughed ONCE in all the years I have owned it.  About 3500 rounds of M855 downrange so far.

My 50 Beowulf 10 inch pistol upper from Bohica has had one FTF (defective ammo), and has never failed to cycle.  Only 400 rounds so far though...

Both run on the same lower, with a standard CAR buffer & spring.

mine runs 100% and has about 800 rounds through it so far. mostly wolf and XM193.
I used a Model 1 barrel and pistol buffer and standard pistol gas tube.
I figure its a pistol so i got the 7.5in barrel.

I think I do.   IT's basically a cut down RRA CAR A4.
