Whats up all,

My wife started shooting about a year ago and until now has been shooting my LE Carbines because I'm always with her. The other day she decided to take one of my AR's and go to the range without me. Its fine with me but the range officer gave her a hard time because of the firearm's "evil features." Yes we live in NY and I am a LEO. So now she wants her own civilian legit ar. I have a Bushy 14.5 inch upper with pinned Izzy brake on it and also have a Bushy lower without a stock. Does anyone own the Ace Skeleton Stock? Apparently she likes its look and want s it.  My other options I guess would be a A2 or fixed tele-stock. I have no experiance with any of these. Any and all opinions would be great! She wants the carbine for the range and home protection when I'm not home. (She is taking a private tacticle carbine course this coming weekend.)

Sully stock if you like 'em just a touch shorter than A1. Followed by A1.
I have an ACE stock, and its OK, but the construction is a little on the light side. Not the frame, but the tube and cheek pad.

How does NY law say it has to be pinned?  Maybe you can buy a 6 position stock, let her try the different trigger pull lengths and pin it in place where she is most comfortable.

CavArms lower? A1 length and its lighter too. And you might be able to find on in a color she likes.

eklikwhoa- Thanks bud. Is it sturdy? She has a small build so it looks pretty good.

BD- Has to be factory pinned. Thanks though.

Here's an old pic of my M4gery with an Ace stock.

This is their short "entry" stock with a one inch butt pad.
It was about the same  length as a collapsible stock in position 2

M16 stock. Nice rounded off buttplate, no trap door. Solid, short, comfortable.

I have one of those stocks and like it. The "entry length" will help with her length of pull and she'll appreciate the 1" pad, for longer range time.

what's her length of pull?

That could be taken the wrong way... Maybe you should re-word it.
