This is what happens when a tv show creates "re-enactments."  I assure you that no such rig exists in DS.

It's a DSS guy.  I think it's fake too, because on a 'straight on view', it looks so canted (to one side) it is misaligned... just want to make sure.

I noticed that too. What is on the end of their barrels? It doesn't look like any kind of flash hider I have ever seen.

I watched this show about RSOs in Liberia.  These are actors, pretending to be agents.  Every M-4 I've seen within DS is your typical M-4 flattop with standard a2 birdcage fh.  This is a prop weapon, and not a good one at that.  The optics, when mounted are usually the compact ACOG.

That is going to cause an elevation problem.  And why did they bother putting rings on it?  Looks like they asked someone to set it up to go on an A2 rifle and the guy assumed they had the #2 and when they realized they had no rails they electric taped it or something.

I watched that over the weekend too.  It looked like a device designed to enhance the flash for dramatic effect.

Unless he has 6 fingers on his right hand, I do not see how he pulls the trigger with that grip.

Well in the first pic he's holding the mag well, and not the pistol grip. How's he gonna shoot? And in both pics you can see the scope rings just a hangin' there off the tube.

What a moron.......

Hey I'll bet even the girls in Charlie's Angels could do better than this.....

Scope's too long.  That's the problem.  Couldn't screw it to the fore grips.

The "technical advisor" hr

The DS Agent being portrayed in this picture is Tony Diebler and he is the real deal, no better man to have on our side in the GWOT.  Remember that this was a dramatization of his heroic actions in the butt crack of the world.  Yes the technical advisor seems to be a clown but that should in no way reflect on the professionals that make up DSS who Tony is the epitome.
