What pistol grip do you think is the most comfortable for your AR?Thanks in advance

Highly subjective responses forthecoming:
I like the ERGO grip the best. Fits my hands nicely. I also have the Tango Down, Hogue and Fobus grips. |
I am new to the AR's (But did use one in the Military for 6 years)and really don't know much about grips for them,Thats why I asked what is the most cofortable grip.So if someone else could start a pole I would be very happy. Thanks in advance.

Buy the MIAD. You can configure it to be anyway your hand wants it to be.
Houge or the Magpul MIAD. Im sorry, I just hate everything Fobus/First Samco makes.
+1 Although I just ordered a MIAD, so we'll see how that is |
I have an Ergo, Tango Down, Miad and Hogue. By far the Ergo wins.
So Egro +1 |
I've only ever tried the Hogue. But have been satisified with it thus far. Definitely a step up from the A2.
It all depends on your hand size. If your glove size is large I would give the hogue a try.
The MIAD is only grip available that can be configured by the user with different front straps and back straps. This means it is far more likely that you will be able to configure the MIAD grip to fit your hand comfortabley. |

+2 for the MIAD. |

Same here. I'm a fan of the A1, A2 or the A2.1! |

I've tried just about everything out there - Ergo, Hogue, SPR, TangoDown... The Magpul MIAD is by far the most comfortable for me, with a stock A2 being a pretty distant second place. |
It's Hogue. After the Hogue the Ergo shape is ok but it just felt like slimy plastic.
I've tried:
SPR M16A1 M16A2 Tango Down Hogue G27 Ergo World Wide Ordnance I like the World Wide Ordnance the best, because it has a duckbill on the front (no need for a gapper) and is like a larger Ergo. Second choice is the G27. |
I've always liked the Ergo and have two. The MIAD is good, but it's not tacky enough for me. I'm hoping the production version will be better. The SPR is too big for me. I tried the G27 and it's very nice. Fits my hand perfectly. And the stock A2 is too small.
The early models Ergo's were smooth plastic. I have one on my SPR. But, they offer a very tacky soft rubber model now that is awesome. |

MIAD since you can adapt it to your preference. Thick/narrow grip profile. Finger rest/or not.
I used to have a Hogue and liked it but after trying the MIAD I've not looked back.
I now have 4, all with the encanced trigger guards. Love them Mark |
My hands are on the smaller stubbier side and I love the Hogue grips. |
I love my Magpul MIAD, but the Hogue leads the way for me in comfort. I use the MIAD because of its many features and benefits.
Tack |

For "Standard" grips I prefer the A1.
The first non-standard I settled on was the Ergo and I still like that grip a lot. My hands down favorite is the MIAD. You can't beat its modularity IMHO. I use the thickest rear strap and the flat front strap. The SPR is nice for a precision weapon I think, but they don't make it in lefty config. I'd like to try a TD BG sometime. My Dad's fav is the A2. |
