I have not seen this done before, doesn't mean it hasn't. I wanted to make my rear lens cap on my Strikefire like that of the Aimpoint comp. To do this I too the Dremel and cut out a circle in the back lens cap. I then took a clear CD sleeve, b/c who needs those anymore, and cut a slightly larger circle from it. Using a little superglue i attached the clear piece inside the lens cap. DONE.

| Can't speak for the op but I've always mounted strikefires with the switch facing down. I believe the switch is the weakest point of this optic and mounting it that way protects it. It also moves the switch out of your line of sight when shooting with both eyes open. Its still easy to reach and I hit it with my thumb. |
| It works perfect rotated 90. Your windage becomes your elevation and your elevation is windage. I actual prefer how you turn it on with the power button facing the rail. Doing this also makes it more difficult to hit the NV button, which is easy to do when mounted to the side, another downfall to the sight(don't get me wrong I really like it). |
