Anyone have any info on this company in the Lake Worth area of North Texas? They sell AR-15 rifles and build kits .

I have done work for them, see them regularly, and they recently asked me to investigate organizing a group buy on ARFCOM (no beuno - they're not a site sponsor), so I am somewhat biased. I am not currently doing work for them.
They've been working out of their Hurst location while they get the Lake Worth location prepped & BATFE approved. They're having an opening BBQ the beginning of August @ the new location. They started w/ shotguns, but have moved to ARs, and they're also handling DPMS Gen 1 .308" compatible parts. Off the top of my head from seeing what they had @ the BigTown gunshow yesterday, they carry Mega, Spikes, and a few others. They have some 80% lowers, and also sell 0% billets as a joke. Russel is ex-Army (prior to GWOT) and is not on ARFCOM; the other partner is a former civilian Humvee mechanic, and is on ARFCOM, but I can never remember his screen name. He reads a lot, doesn't post much. My favorite deal from them is they have a LOT of Sabre Defense (Cav Arms Mk 2) lowers, and sell them cheap. $100 for one w/ a fully populated LPK, buffer, & spring, but unfortunately, they don't have many of those left. $65 for a stripped one, w/ takedown pins, $60/per if you buy two or more - they have a lot of these. They just sold me a broken one w/o pins for $20 (split down the front of the mag well) which I intend to split completely and cast per the Fruity Ghost thread. They've got quite a few w/o take down pins ($10 from GWACS) that they're willing to sell cheap, and then a few that have failed plastic welds @ the front of the magwell or on the stock somewhere, also w/o pins. They're upstanding guys who play by the rules, look for deals, and are trying to make money by delivering a decent product for a reasonable price. They want to become a modern black rifle gunshop, and not carry wood-stocked guns. They were working towards having a fully functioning website (why I was working for them), but their credit card processor wouldn't support it as a result of Obama's Operation Chokepoint, so they're phone/email/eBay only now. |
