On my brand new DPMS I ran around 250 rounds through it today, when cleaning the gun tonight I found the pin for the trigger had walked out about 1/8" to the right. It was no big deal I lined up the pin and tapped it back in. Is this normal? I wouldn't think so.

I wouldn't really call it normal, but things do exist to stop that though.

the trigger pin is held in place by the leg of the hammer spring leg.

+1 I would be that the hammer spring is not installed correctly

I had the same problem on Saturday at the range and yep, one of the trigger springs legs was not installed properly. My goof when I reassembled it
