| My new lower has only three holes drilled on the trigger guard. Should it be drilled half way through on the inside of the apposite wall of where the single hole is or is this the way they come? Sorry it’s my first build. |

The portion lacking a hole is meant for a single-sided spring detent(located in triggerguard). When depressed it allows the triggerguard to swing back for gloved shooting. Completely normal. I assume you do not have your lower parts kit yet. It will become clear once you recieve it. |

No I do not have the lower part kit yet . But I checked my AR 15 that I’ve been shooting for about 1 ½ years and I did not know it did that – dummy me - maybe I should not build and sell my new lower. NO I think I will build and use this forum a lot in the next couple of months. THANKS |

No big deal. None of us were born with this knowledge. Here's a link to FALARAK's build-it-yourself if you had not already seen it. Good luck on your build. |
